![]() ![]() In the early to mid-1980s, spring-powered ballistic knives were being sold in the U.S. Matrix’s magical claymores with their switch and red light and the modified, wireless claymore detonator. ![]() Now, that’s what they were called, but its a common misconception that the Soviet Union developed knives that could launch their blades several meters for their special forces. Matrix calls out, “Como esta?” to a guard, and when he turns, I swear he shoots him in the chest with a freakin’ Russian ballistic knife! Then there’s a part I didn’t even remember until a recent viewing. Two guards almost catch him planting a claymore, and whoosh! He takes them out with two throwing knives pulled from behind his back that you didn’t see him gear up with and whose sheaths aren’t there later! Matrix with his super fancy binoculars and a rubber Remington 870 with a filled barrel slung on his back. ![]()
